Lynette is a writer, a foodie and a traveller. She is also a mom of two littlies and a surfer’s wife (almost). Born and bred in Cape Town, South Africa, she is a happy-go-lucky, glass-half-full kind of girl, w̶h̶o̶ ̶d̶r̶e̶a̶m̶s̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶p̶a̶c̶k̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶i̶t̶ ̶a̶l̶l̶ ̶u̶p̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶m̶o̶v̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶S̶e̶y̶c̶h̶e̶l̶l̶e̶s̶, who has recently relocated to the Seychelles.
She has worked in the magazine industry for nine years, in various positions, from features writer and copy editor to beauty editor and more. Through both work and personal ventures she has stayed in (and written about) some of the most wonderful places, locally and internationally. She loves bubbly (the drink, not the chocolate), coffee, animals, adventures, exploring new places and the beauty of nature. She also loves food, family and a good spa treatment.
Besides working for ELLE Magazine South Africa for seven years, she has also written for Tatler Hong Kong, The Sunday Times Lifestyle UK, Family Holiday & Leisure Magazine, Sawubona (SAA), Juice (Mango airlines), Harper’s Bazaar Australia, Asia Spa Magazine and many other local and international titles.
